This depth keeps the lines below mower blades while delivering water to the dense turf root zone. Row spacing: 12-18 inches between drip lines for complete coverage. For vegetable gardens: bury 6-8 inches deep with 18-24 inch emitter spacing. This depth matches the rooting depth of most vegetables while remaining above the deeper tillage zone.
